MEP - Region 3 Staff

Program Administrator  

Jesse Shawver is the Program Administrator for the Region 3 Regional Center.  Jesse has been a part of the Migrant Education Program (MEP) since January 2015.  Prior to joining MEP, he was actively involved as a High School Social Studies teacher.  His expertise is in Educational Administration having completed his Master's in Educational Administration in May 2013 from Ball State University.  His role includes Supervision of MEP Region 3 staff, management of the Title 1, Part C grant, and a major focus on the Educational aspects of Migrant Education.

 Student Services Coordinator

Jenny Pruett is the Director of the Region 3 Migrant Education Resource Center. She has worked in the Alexandria Community School Corporation with the migrant program for 15 years. She started with Region 3 at the inception of the regional centers in July 2013. Jenny is responsible for assisting with the management of all aspects of migrant programming, and assuring all support services are being provided to the migrant students.

Instructional Technology & Curriculum Coordinator 

Zach Anacker is the IT & Curriculum Coordinator for the Region 3 Migrant Education Resource Center. Zach graduated from Ball State University in 2010 with a teaching degree in Physical Education. Following graduation he started working in Alexandria Community Schools as the Migrant High School Teacher for 4 years before becoming part of the Regional Migrant Staff. Zach has always had a passion for technology and incorporating it in the classroom. Zach is now responsible for managing the iPads in the region and assisting in troubleshooting tech issues.

Migrant Family Specialist

Doris Waters, Migrant Family Specialist, has worked in various roles and locations with the Indiana migrant education program for 17 years. She is a native Spanish speaker and first served as a migrant field coordinator for the State Department of Education. Doris joined region 3 in 2013 as a migrant specialist. Her role includes coordinating interstate collaboration, translation services, and referring families to available public resources in their communities.

HR/Office manager

Krista Baledge is the HR/Office Manager at the Region 3 Migrant Education Resource Center.  She has been with the migrant program for 1.5 years. Krista is responsible for selecting and monitoring tutors and paraprofessionals for the region.  She maintains records of their services provided and remains in direct communication with them regarding student academic progress.

Region 3 Recruiter

My name is Josmary Pearson. I am the ID&R Field Specialist for Region 3. I have been working with the Migrant Education Program since May 2013. My role is to locate the Migrant families in our region. Therefore, I am the first person that contacts the families to determinate eligibility with a Certificate Of Eligibility (COE) if the family qualifies for the Migrant Education Program.
